Postphotographic project founded in 2014 is based on experimenting with photographic materials (photopapers and films). It was inspired by Jiří Šigut works with photopapers in nature. Basic feature of this project is alternative use of classical photomaterials, playing with their ability to to react not only to the light, but aslo to other physical and chemical influences, that can affect the final photographic result.
There is no camera, no negative but the plants and flowers instead, and the bunch of circumstances affecting the photosensitve material in this specific proces of portraing the items of nature. The result of this analog procedure is surprisingly precize and magicaly colorful depiction of the plants.
In this game plays its role many different factors (type of photomaterials, time, intensity of light, preasure, temperature, moisture, character and chemicals of the plant itself….). So the play with all of them becomes much more intricate and interesting comparig to ordinary black and white photographic process. It reveals unsuspected possibilities of the materials designed for something else and enable the nature to communicate directly and more magical through the medium of photography.
